George Brown Obituary

Son of the late Frank & Mabel Brown, died on October 11, 2010 at the age of 56. He is survived by his brother Bill Brown of Yuba City, and his daughter Mindy Lister, of Orland, and 3 grandsons. George was a favorite uncle to numerous nieces & nephews. He was also loved by his large extended family including stepdaughters Missy Cochran of Corpus Christi, Texas and Janette Moore of Yuba City, and 5 step- grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at Sutter Cemetery on Butte House Road at 3:00 pm. Saturday, October 16th. Following the service, friends and family are invited to attend a gathering at the Native Daughters Hall in Sutter, located at 7393 Lyons Street on the corner of Lyons & California Streets. I found out a few months ago that George had passed away. We had lost contact some years ago. But he meant a lot to me. And I was quite taken aback at the news. I will miss you very much. There will never be another like George. Be at peace and know that you will always be in my heart.
