Dear Aunt Marg - Rod & I send our heartfelt sympathy to you and all of your family. My fondest memories growing up were our visits each summer w/you and "Uncle George"! My visits w/Grandma Cass always meant a trip to Live Oak to see the both of you and the fun of playing w/my cousins, Cathy & Debbie. George was the most fun Uncle a girl could have. Blessings to you all and I know that all the great memories you share of a wonderful man will help you through this time. He was BEYOND SPECIAL!!!

My memories of 'Uncle George' include the sense of humor his sister (my Granny Franny) talked about and his generous nature when I met him. I came away with a Mr. Goodbar tin and $2 bill as treasures of my visit. I know he'll provide the best medicine to those he's surrounded by now - laughter. Rest in peace and laughter Uncle George!

I met Uncle George when Terry & I and our 3 children visited him at the cabin. The kids loved the fact that he had walnuts to feed the squirrels and we all had a great day with him. He had quite the sense of humor and kept us laughing. Rest well, Uncle George - you've earned it. Love, Deanna & Terry Pennington.
