Gordon Ray Weesner was born to Ray and Martha Weesner in French Camp, CA on October 14, 1935. He passed away on April 23, 2015 after a lengthy illness surrounded by his six children.

Gordon grew up in Lodi, CA and married his high school sweetheart Phyllis Lofus in 1957. After graduating from the University of Wyoming School of Pharmacy, Gordon owned his own pharmacy in Novato, CA. Wanting to raise their children in a smaller community; Gordon moved his family to Sutter County in 1969. He worked as a pharmacist for Payless Drugs, Pay and Save and Walgreens locally and retired with Safeway Pharmacy.

Gordon's favorite place on earth was Hawaii and he traveled there frequently. He was an avid San Francisco Giants and 49ers fan. He enjoyed golfing with his sons and grandsons.

Gordon was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Martha Weesner and his brother Bill Weesner. He is survived by his children, Julie Aguirre, Pamela Morasch, Lori McGrath, Sherri Banford (Brent), and Mark Weesner (Stephanie) all of Yuba City and Mike Weesner of Lincoln; 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren and his ex-wife Phyllis McClain of Yuba City.

Per his request there will be no service. In lieu of flowers, donations to an animal shelter or animal rescue group can be made on Gordon's behalf.
