Greg, 64, passed away October 3, 2012 on the Bihlman Ranch in Live Oak. He was born June 25, 1948 in Yuba City, CA. He was a fifth generation and lifelong resident of Live Oak.

Greg attended Live Oak schools, Yuba College, and Cal Poly. Area residents might remember him as the bass player in the "Graynes of Sand" band in the 60's. He was a rancher, land leveler, and owner of Bihlman Butte Rock, Inc.

Greg was very involved in Live Oak Little League for many years. Including serving on the Board, coaching, umpiring, and donating time and material for upkeep of the softball and baseball fields. He was a long time bowler in the Yuba Sutter Bowling Association. Greg was named Bowler of the Year in 1979-80 and was inducted into their Hall of Fame in 2004-05. He enjoyed playing in Senior Softball leagues and travel teams. He participated in the Senior World Games in St. George, Utah for seven years and won numerous medals in bowling and softball. He was also an avid golfer.

Greg will be greatly missed by his family: wife of 43 years Susan, son Aaron (Jennifer), daughters Amy (Nathan) and Amanda (Cody), five grandchildren; Evan, Aubree, Kylee, Samantha, and Garrett, his mother Dorene, sisters; Janet (Barry) and Lynne (Doug), brother Jim (Kathy), mother-in- law Norma, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A memorial will be held in his honor at Live Oak Church of the Brethren, 1990 Archer Ave., Live Oak, on Sunday, Oct. 7 at 2:00 pm.
