Hallie (Harold) Hudgins Jr. Obituary

Harold, 72 of Olivehurst passed away December 28th, peacefully with family by his side. Born in Yuba City, he was a life time Yuba Sutter resident.

He was part owner in a paint and body shop, H & H Auto Body, then started his own windshield business. He retired after twenty years from Hudgins Auto Glass, where he has been enjoying his free time with camping, fishing, especially at East Park, his annual trips to Oregon and Arizona with a great group of friends and family, and watching Nascar Racing. He was a member of the Yuba City Moose Lodge.

Harold was a well known stock car driver at Live Oak Speedway and Triple M. Speedway from 1969 to mid 80's, taking several championships in a row at Triple M. Speedway.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Connie Hudgins; a daughter, Terri Massey (Ron); a son, Rich Hudgins (Lisa); 3 grandchildren, Chris Warner (Theresa), Shawna Warner Lasater, Brianna Hudgins; 2 great grandchildren, Linken Lasater, and Jaxson Bailey. Harold has 4 sisters, Jessie Dodson (Randy), Beryl Holcomb, Sharron Cosker, Lorreta McCarley (Frank); 1 brother, Bruce Hudgins (Kathy) and several nieces and nephews.

The Memorial Service is at 11:00 am, Friday, January 10th, 2014 at Ullrey Memorial Chapel, 817 Almond St., Yuba City. The Rev. Wayne Vincent of Loma Rica Church will officiate. A reception will follow at the Yuba City Moose Lodge.
