At the end of that conflict, Harriet and her family settled in the greater San Jose area. When her husband suddenly passed away, Harriet found employment in the fledgling semiconductor business in Mountain View. It was there she met and married her second husband, Werner Keim, in 1962, for the next 52 years. Aside from her first husband, Harriet is preceded in death by her son Kenneth W. McCallum II, Sergeant USMC/ Vietnam, of natural causes, in 1986. She has 2 children, 2 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She and her husband moved to Yuba City in 1990.
