Harriett passed away peacefully in her home on January 16, 2014. She was born in Des Moines, Iowa in 1921, and moved to the Yuba City area in 1965.

Harriett retired from CalTrans in 1981 after 15 years of service. Retirement did not slow her down. She began a new passion in her life, volunteering. Harriett once said, "Volunteering keeps you young, active, and mentally alert."

She was a member of The Quota Club and The Business and Professional Women's Club in the 1970's. In 1982 she volunteered at the Fremont Medical Center where she gave 22 years and thousands of hours of her time.

Harriett enjoyed the company of her dog, Snow and her friends. She will be dearly missed by her friend Stephanie Biehle, and Stephanie's boys Garriett and Wyatt.

She is survived by her sisters, Helen Mallory and Mildred Capps; a brother Roland Nauman; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bertha and Rolland Nauman, and her sisters Ellen Blackford, Mary Holstad, and her husband, Norman Raddatz.

Private services will be held.
