Hazel Crowe Obituary
Of Yuba City passed away on February 13, 2012 in Live Oak, CA. She was born on August 30, 1923 in Riske Creek, British Columbia, Canada. She had been a Yuba/Sutter area resident for 60+ years and was retired.
In addition to a Loving Mother, Grandmother, and great Grandmother, Hazel provided a personal and loving atmosphere for multiple generations of local children under her care.
Hazel was an avid reader and enjoyed traveling and return visits to family in British Columbia. She will be missed by all that knew her.
Survivors include her sons, Jim Haase of Yuba City and Dan Haase (Anna) of Novato, CA; daughter Sandra Adams (Weldon) of Yuba City, grandsons, Eric Haase of Greenbrae, CA, Jerry Haase (Kristen) of Yuba City and Jason Haase (Teri) of Marysville, and 3 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by Velda Haase, Sam Crowe and son, Gerald Haase.
A Celebration of Life for family and friends will be held from 12-3pm on Saturday, February 25, 2012 at Shiloh Facility, 859 Jones Rd., YC
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sutter North Hospice.
Arrangements are under the direction of Ullrey Memorial Chapel.

Our Condolences to the Crowe family, We pray that God bless, strengthen and comfort you at this time. Although our family met Hazel for a short time, our hearts are sadden. My mom who shared a room with her at the River Valley Care Center, and our family will miss her. She will not be forgotten. R.I.P Hazel.

Aunt Hazel, you were always there for me, I think I spent more time hanging out at your house than I did my own, especially in my teens. You were always encouraging and kind. I will always remember the big family holidays at your house, the camping trips and just visiting with you. It brings me comfort to know that all the Helwig siblings are together again and what a good time you are all having! There are stories being told and lots of laughter. I will love and miss you always.
