Helen Lorene Berkley (Sellers) passed from this life on June 4th, 2013 at the age of 90 after a short illness. She was a resident of Roseville for the past seven years before that she lived in Wheatland, California for 48 years where she and her husband Fred raised their four children. Prior to Wheatland the family resided in Live Oak, California.
Helen was born in Phoenix, Arizona on August 17, 1922. She was the only daughter born to James Pinkney Sellers and Cora Belle Sellers (Coffman). Helen was sister to three brothers, John, George, and Raymond. George survives Helen and resides in Phoenix, Arizona.
Helen's husband, Fred, passed away in 1997 after 56 years of marriage. Helen is survived by her four children, David Berkley, his wife Diana, Ruth, her husband, James Arnold, Beverly, her husband Timothy Dant, and Brenda Berkley. As well as five grandchildren, Kimberly, James, Austin, Savannah, and Katy Rose. Three great-grandchildren, all called her "G-G ma", they are Karissa, Jaden, and Konnor.
Helen will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Helen will be remembered as the sweet, but spunky lady with the fantastic laugh. When Helen laughed, one couldn't help but join the fun.
Private services will be held.
