Howard Warner Boyd age 81, entered into eternal rest on November 7, 2009 in Yuba City, CA. He was born in Oroville, CA and attended Biggs High School, graduating in 1946. He resided in Wheatland for 55 years. Howard served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War conflict, and he was a proud member of the VFW. After serving in the military, he was a professional truck driver for more than 30 years, working for the Associated Transportation Company. His favorite pastimes included spending time with his grandchildren, whom he loved dearly, and reading action books, especially those written by Louis L'Amour. Howard is survived by two daughters; Mary Ann Leonard and her husband, Michael, of Annville, PA, and Paula Boyd of Wheatland, CA., by his grandson, Erik Leonard and his wife Sarah, and by another grandson, Brian Leonard, a granddaughter Rosie Boyd, and by a great - granddaughter, Sylvia Leonard.
