Jason S. Hughes Obituary

Jason S. Hughes of Marysville, CA passed away peacefully at home on December 29, 2013. Born October 5, 1976 in Apple Valley, CA, he was a Yuba Sutter resident for 15 years.

Jason was a Road Maintenance Worker II for Yuba County.

Survivors include his parents, John E. Hughes and Donna L. Hughes of Barstow, CA. He is also survived by his three older brothers, John E. Hughes II of Apple Valley, CA, Aaron T. Hughes of Palm Desert, CA, and Michael A. Hughes and his wife, Shawnte C. Hughes of Marysville, CA. Additionally, he had many nieces and nephews who he was deeply devoted to including Brittney Lemstrom, Shelby Hughes, Eric Henry, Taylor Hughes, Bailey Hughes, Tawni Henry, Parker Hughes, Jordan Henry, Joey Henry, Nehemiah Lemstrom, Riley "monkey" Henry and Nina Lemstrom. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and his grandmother, Katherine Hughes.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers: Carl Hughes and Fred Morawcznksi and grandmother, Stella Morawcznksi.

Jason was a member of the Elks Lodge, Clampers, and was a little league coach. Jason was very involved with local sporting events and was an active member of his community and loved by many.

A viewing will be held a the Lakeside Chapel on January 3, 2014 from 6-8 pm, located at 830 D. St., Marysville, CA. Services will be held on January 4, 2014 at the Calvary Christian Church at 10:00am, located at 6349 Marysville Rd.
