Jean Mullin Obituary

Jean Mullin, a longtime Marysville resident, died Friday, February 5, 2016 in Spokane, Washington. She was 89. Jean was born in Liverpool, England and married Philip John Mullin, an Air Force welder stationed in Liverpool, in 1954.

In 1955 their only child was born, and the family moved to America, where her husband finished the last seven years of his Air Force enlistment. His last duty station was Beale Air Force Base. 

Upon retirement, he worked as a custodian at the Yuba City Library. From the middle sixties to the late eighties, Jean was a lunchtime resource mentor at Anna McKenney Middle School in Marysville. She also volunteered as a Yuba County precinct worker for many elections.

She is survived by her son, Philip Eugene Mullin, her daughter-in-law, Katherine Mullin, and her two grandsons, Lane Patrick Mullin and Benjamin John Mullin. Please direct condolences to [email protected].
