Jesus T. Salas Obituary

Msgt. (USAF, Ret), Jesus T. Salas passed away Saturday, May 14, 2016 in Tagatay Philippines. Known to family and friends as "Jesse", was born March 9, 1947. He served 22 years in the United States Air Force and spent the remainder 22 years of his civilian service at Beale AFB. Those who were lucky enough to know Jesse felt the true altruistic nature of his soul. His generosity was second to none and he was a lover of life to his family and his friends. He will forever be remembered for his character, charisma, loving nature, kindred spirit and his contagious smile.

Jesse is survived by his loving wife of 12 years Rorie F. Salas, nephew James Aaron Fernandez, niece Rio Fernandez who they raised together in the Philippines, son-in-law Lundy Nath and 4 brothers; James Salas, Willie Salas, Erwin Mendiola, Norman Mendiola and 2 sisters Trinia Mendiola and Elaine Mendiola.

He is preceded in death by his brother Jerry Salas and the mother of his children, Elizabeth P. Salas and survived by the 3 daughters they have together; Evelyn Rama Di Grazia, Tanya Salas Nath, and Jessica Monique Salas who he adored. Jesse has 7 beautiful grandchildren; Johnny Life Walker, Adrian Jesus Salas, Ethan Forbes Salas-Nath, Milania Chan-Many Nath, Norina Vivienne Nath, Kaileah Elizabeth Varinh, and Jayden Kavion Salas-Varinh.

Services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, June 25th at St. Rose Catholic Church, 615 Vine Ave, Roseville, CA 95648. Celebration of life will be held immediately after at Catta Verdera Country Club 1111 Catta Verdera, Lincoln. All family and friends are welcome in remembrance and celebration of our time spent with this special man.

While this celebration of life will be informal in nature, we encourage those who attend to share a story or experience of Jesse that touched you. Please have lunch with us while we celebrate the time we had with him. Any questions please feel free to contact Tanya or Lundy at [email protected].
