Juanita L. Powers Obituary

Juanita L. Powers of Olivehurst, peacefully passed away at her home on December 27, 2015. Juanita was 88 years old and a resident of Olivehurst for over 60 years. She was born November 20, 1928 in Visalia, California to Roy and Martha Bryant.

Juanita was a loving wife and mother of 4 children. She worked at CalTrans for 29 years as a reproduction operator. Juanita donated many hours to organizations that she loved. She was a Charter Member of the American Legion and a past Worthy Matron for Eastern Star - Marysville Chapter #55.

Juanita is survived by her daughters Marsha Colburn (John) of Olivehurst, Sandy Hall (the late Jess Hall) of Olivehurst, and Susan Bogle (Larry) of Browns Valley, siblings Barbara Flaherty of Olivehurst and Bill Bryant (Peg) of Oregon, and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Juanita is preceded in death by her loving husband Clarence Noble Powers, son Gerald Powers, son-in-law Jess Hall, grandchildren Jerry Lee Mosley and Alika Louise Powers, her parents and 8 siblings.

Funeral services are under the direction of Lakeside Colonial Chapel. There was a private family viewing Monday, January 4, 2016. Funeral services will be held at Lakeside Colonial Chapel on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at 1 pm with interment following at Sierra View Memorial Park. Friends and Family are invited to join together after interment for sharing of stories and remembrance of Juanita at the LDS Church on 1997 North Beale Road, Marysville CA.
