Judith Lynne Pearl "Judy" (Anderson) Dillwith Obituary

Judith (Judy) Lynne Pearl (Anderon) Dillwith, 65, passed away in Yuba City, CA, on December 9, 2016 at 5:35 pm. She was life-long resident of the Yuba-Sutter area.

Judy graduated from Yuba City High School in 1969, attended and graduated from Yuba Jr. College and Chico State University in Chico with a BA Degree in English and a CA Life Teaching certificate. She also earned a SDAIE certificate for teaching "English as a second language."

She was a third grade teacher at Lincoln School in Yuba City for 34 years, Judy wrote articles about the school for the newspaper.

Judy was a Past Honored Queen of Bethel #256, in Yuba City; member of Fidelia Chapter of Yuba City; member of Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority at CSU, Chico; 34 years' member of Yuba City Unified Teacher Union; member of CTA and NTA; member of CA Retired Teachers Association; honored to be a member of "Who's Who of American Teacher's; honored in Madison's Who's Who Historical Society of America." Also, volunteered every fall for CELDS testing at Lincoln School in Yuba City, CA.

Judy is preceded in death by her beloved husband Charles (Chuck) Wayne Dillwith; her parents William Gerald (Jerry) and Marguerite (Coleman) Anderson; paternal grandparents, Chris and Clara (Brizindine) Blakemore; and maternal grandparents, George and Pearl (Graham) Coleman; sister-in-law, Judy (Breon) Anderson, late wife of Gerald (Jerry) Anderson.

She is survived by a brother, Gerald (Jerry) Anderson of Loomis, CA; 3 sons, Lee Dillwith and wife Jen (Bruns) Dillwith of Gardnerville, NV; Jacob Dillwith of Yuba City, CA; and Jess Dillwith and wife, April (Preston) Dillwith of Yuba City, CA. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, Ella and Max Dillwith of Gardnerville, NV; and Nicole, Hunter and Tyler Dillwith of Yuba City, CA.

Judy enjoyed traveling with family and friends, camping, going to the beach, playing BUNCO, horseback riding, reading and helping others.

Viewing will be held on December 16, 2016 from 4-7 pm at Ullrey's Memorial Chapel, 817 Almond St., Yuba City, CA.

Church services will be held on December 17, 2016 at 11 am at the Loma Rica Community Church, 11234 Loma Rica Road, Loma Rica, CA with graveside services following at Peoria Cemetery, Marysville Road, Browns Valley, CA. Reverend Wayne Vincent will officiate with help from Ullrey's Mortuary, Yuba City, CA.
