Judy Geiger Obituary

December 20, 1940 - June 7, 2016

Surrounded by her loving family singing songs of worship, Judy Geiger went to meet her Savior Christ Jesus. Judy has been a resident of Yuba City for the past 15 years.

Judy is loved by many but is most remembered by the outpouring of kindness and patience she shared with so many.

Sharing time with family and friends brought her great joy. And everyone always felt welcome in her home. She developed a special legacy by hosting "cousin camps" for her grandkids that have lasting memories.

She enjoyed tending her garden, doing crossword puzzles, and spending mornings with a cup of coffee.

Judy shared a special bond with Dennis Geiger her husband of nearly 52 years. They traveled together via RV and cruise ship to many places but most of all raising a family and providing a loving home and foundation of faith was life's priority.

Judy was born in Columbus, Kansas (Ruth M. and Chester C. Wells) and lived in Baxter Springs, Kansas till the age of 4 when they moved to Dinuba, California. She grew up in Dinuba while her dad managed a farm.

Judy and Dennis married on June 14, 1964 and lived in Santa Cruz, San Jose, Placerville, and Yuba City. Judy worked as a bookkeeper for NASCAR, Hangtown Pharmacy (Placerville) and family businesses with Dennis' construction company and Family Farm Supply in Auburn, Ca.

She was preceded in death by both of her parents.

Judy is survived by Dennis Geiger (husband), sons Marvin Penner and Steve Geiger, brother Dale Wells and sister Marsha Rhodes, along with five grandchildren. Comments may be left at www.chapelofthetwincities.com.
