Kenneth McCrary Obituary

Kenneth L. McCrary, Jr. (Kenny), 35, of Yuba City, sadly passed away peacefully on February 17, 2018, at Rideout Regional Medical Center after a valiant struggle with Crones Disease and multiple organ failure.

Kenny, a life-long Sutter County resident, was born July 17, 1982, in Yuba City, CA, to his parents Kenneth McCrary and Terri Helman (McCrary).

Kenny attended local schools and graduated from Yuba City High School. He held a variety of jobs, cherished his many friends, treasured the many get-togethers with his large extended family and was a die-hard NASCAR, football and baseball fan (go Cowboys and A's!). He enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing, appreciated rock music and loved to sing and play the guitar. Kenny had a real passion for freedom and sharing what little he had with others.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, James and Betty McCrary, and Billie Reynolds; aunt, Francis Blankenship; and uncles, James McCrary Jr., Tracy Reynolds, Michael Reynolds, Marty Reynolds, and Willy Loper.

Kenny leaves behind his father, Kenneth McCrary, Sr. of Yuba City; mother, Terri (Rick) Helman of Marysville; sisters, Misty (Jeff) Garcia of Plumas Lake, and Krystal (Kevin Baird) McCrary of Linda; grandmother, Ardeth Loper of Grants Pass, Oregon; 7 nieces and nephews; and numerous aunts and uncles.

Kenny was a caring and much loved soul who touched many lives and will be missed forever!

Arrangements are under the direction of Holycross Memorial Services, 486 Bridge St., Yuba City, CA. Graveside services will be held at Sutter Cemetery, 7200 Butte Avenue, Sutter, CA on Friday, February 23, 2018, at 1:00 PM.
