Kerry Bacchi Obituary

Kerry Lyn Bacchi, 41, of Watertown, Wisconsin, passed away on September 16, 2010 at the Watertown Regional Medical Center, following a courageous two year battle with cancer. A memorial service was held at St. Henry Catholic Church in Watertown. Kerry was born on January 4, 1969 to Charles and Gail Pfister of Gridley. She attended local schools and was a 1987 Gridley High School graduate. She was active in Sunday school and youth group at the Gridley Presbyterian church. Kerry enjoyed many years of softball, from T-ball through her high school years. She also played high school tennis, achieving All-league for doubles tennis with her sister, Kristin. After earning her college credits in Early Childhood Education, she worked in that field in the Sacramento area. Kerry married Michael Bacchi in 1994, and they created a comfortable and happy home in Wisconsin for their three children. The family supported many activities around school and sport. Mostly a stay-at-home mom, she was proud of her daily playground monitor job at St. Henry Catholic School and was a beloved and popular figure to all the students. Survivors include her husband, Michael Bacchi of Watertown, her children, Anthony, Megan and Paige all at home; her parents, Charles and Gail Pfister of Gridley, her sister Kristin (Paul) Meyer of El Dorado Hills, CA; her father and mother- in-law Michael and Malinda Bacchi of Cary, Illinois and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 1, 2010 at 4pm at the First Presbyterian Church located on the corner of Sampson and Rideout in Marysville. Donations to a charity of choice are suggested by the family. Send Condolences to www.appealdemocrat.com
