Lois Mangrum Obituary

Lois D. Mangrum, 88, of Yuba City, passed away February 25, 2017. She was born in Laredo, MO. January 3, 1929 to John and Viola Davenport. Lois came to California with her parents in 1945.

She met and married Roy Mangrum in 1949. She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking, sewing quilts, and playing games with her extended family and friends. Lois lived in the Yuba Sutter area for 72 years and was a member of Cooper Avenue Baptist Church. She will be remembered for her beautiful blue eyes and sweet smile.

She is survived by her son Howard Mangrum (Maria) of Walnut Creek, CA and daughter Connie Hunter (Craig) of Salinas, CA; five grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and sister Wilma Johnson of Yuba City.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy, son, Terry Ford and grandson, Nicky Ford.

A private family service will be held in her honor. Contribution in Lois' memory can be made to the National Parkinson Foundation.
