Louis Lopez Obituary

Louis Lopez of Olivehurst passed away on July 26, 2014 at home with his loving family. He was born in Porterville, CA on January 14, 1934. He was with his wife Sandy Lopez for 39 years.

He is survived by children Melissa "Moe" Lopez (Juan, Annabelle, Alex and Salvador), Luis Lopez (Anthony and Alejandro), Chris Graham) (Jasmine and Susan), Kathy, Tina, Suzie, Cheryl, Beverly, Jackie and James. Numerous other grandchildren ad great grandchildren. nieces, nephews, siblings, brother and sister in laws.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was an ironworker for many years. He loved spending time with the family, camping, working around the yard. No matter how ill he was, he never lost his sense of humor. No matter how sick when asked how are you feeling, he would answer "with my hands".

Thanks to Moe and kids, he was able to remain at home through his whole illness. Luis, getting him out for visits. He will be very much missed, forever in our hearts and never forgotten. So very much loved, but finally at peace.

Arrangements through Lakeside Colonial. Service will be September 5, 2014 at 1 PM at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in Dixon. Donations can be made in his name to Sutter North Hospice.
