Mrs. Louise Gladys Nameth Zocco, of Yuba City, California, passed away on July 28, 2018, at age 85. Louise was born on February 5, 1933, in Poughkeepsie, New York.

Louise labored in factories, picked strawberries, worked in a pie bakery, and did other jobs when she was young. She married George Emmanuel Zocco (now deceased), who worked as a fireman for the Poughkeepsie Fire Department. She raised her family in Poughkeepsie, New York, and later moved to Yuba City, where her son and daughter now live.

Louise was a fun loving and kind lady who was always loved by all the children in the neighborhoods wherever she lived. She was always willing to help her family, friends and neighbors in any way she could. She was a devout Catholic who loved God with all her heart and who gave regularly to the St. Jude Children's Hospital.

Louise loved music; her favorite songs included "White Christmas", 'God Bless America", "Blue Velvet", "Ave Maria", and "Peace on Earth".

Louise is survived by her brother, Leslie George Nameth; her sister, Mary Ann Place; a daughter, Lisa McDaniel; a son, George Michael Zocco; several nieces and nephews, 2 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
