Louise Standiford Obituary

Louise Standiford was born April 13, 1925 in Hastings, Oklahoma and entered into rest September 15, 2015.

She traveled with her parents and 2 sisters to Yuba County in 1939 and graduated from Marysville High School in 1943. Louise married the love of her life, Lester Standiford, in 1946.

She retired from Sunsweet in Yuba City after working 26 years as a scales operator and pitter analyst. She was a Lifetime Member of the California State Old Time Fiddlers.

Louise is preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Lester Standiford, her parents Velma and Shelton Caviness, and sisters; Marjane Armstrong and Virginia McCorkle.

She is survived by her son, Dennis Standiford of Yuba City and daughter, Linda Davison of Reedsport, Oregon, granddaughters; Rhonda Beardsley (Scott) of Grass Valley and Michelle Diemer (Johnny) of Yuba City, grandsons; Brian Williams (Amy) of Kelseyville, Dan Williams (Tani) of Napa and Scott Standiford of Yuba City. She also leaves behind great grandchildren, Jordan and Christopher Beardsley of Grass Valley, Kalie, Jenna, and Landon Williams of Kelseyville, Luke and Peyton Williams of Napa, Loegan Standiford and Chance, Chase, and Blake Diemer of Yuba City.

A funeral service will be held at Lakeside Colonial Chapel, in Marysville on Monday, September 21st at 11 AM. Interment will follow at Sierra View Memorial Park.
