Lucille Doris Naylor Obituary

Lucille Doris Naylor, age 93, of Brownsville, CA, passed away July 8, 2016. She was a resident of the area for 67 years. Born on November 29, 1922 in Diller, NE, she was the second daughter of Claude and Matilda Nider. She and her family grew up on a farm with lots of chores to get done. In high school she played the French horn in the band.

Lucille was wonderful friend and loved by all who knew her. She was very kind and would help anyone in need. She was active in many community projects, Forbestown Parade Committee, book club, cancer dressings, Pink Lady at Oroville Hospital, Forbestown Hall events, fundraisers and played the organ for the Lutheran Church in Brownsville for over 25 years.

She was a wonderful daughter, sister and beloved mother to her family. She will be in our hearts forever.

She is survived by a daughter Joyce Williams of Brownsville; son Michael Williams of Paradise; sisters, Arleen Owen of Fresno, Maxine Easley of Fresno, Dorothy Penny of Burlington, CO and Marilyn Schnider of TX; brothers, Luis Nider of CO and Dale Nider of CO; grandchildren, Michelle Sheilds of Brownsville, Levi Williams of Forbestown, Kyle Williams of Paradise and great grandson Shane Sheilds.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Matilda Nider; sister Betty Lisle; husband Kenneth E. Naylor and grandson Jacob Williams.

A Celebration of Life will be at Brownsville Community Center with a potluck at 12 Noon, July 23,2016.
