Lyle Glen Ransom Obituary

Lyle Glen Ransom, 89, passed away due to a congestive heart failure and went to his eternal home to be with Jesus to celebrate life to the fullest on January 18, 2015 at his home in Browns Valley, CA. He was born on August 7, 1925.

Lyle Glen was a Yuba-Sutter resident for 80 years. He served in the army. His previous occupation was working for Yuba County Road Construction for 20 years and has been retired for about 20 years. He was also employed in Dad's younger years for Sacramento Boss Lumbar Company at Woodleaf, CA for many years. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Survivors include his son, Floyd Eugene Ransom of Marysville, daughter, Glenda Marie Herr of Browns Valley, step-daughters; Mary Ellen Vincamp of Oroville and Kathy Luther.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Joan Ransom, son, Michael Ransom.daughter, Judy Smith, and grandson, Henry Herr.

Services will be held Friday, January 23, 2015 at 10 AM in Marysville, CA with Pastor John Lockhart, affiliating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lakeside Colonial Chapel and Crematory (530) 749-9277.
