Marcos Antonio Banuelos, age 63, passed away on April 6, 2016 in Honolulu, Hawaii where he resided with his life-long, loving companion, Jeanine. Marcos was born on February 20, 1952 in Marysville, California to Jesus and Alejandra Bañuelos.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, Richard and Albert Villalpando and Jose Luis Banuelos and his sisters Maria de Jesus Villalpando and Juanita Rosalva Banuelos.

Marcos is survived by his siblings, Joe and George Villalpando, (Pat) Trinidad Banuelos, (Barbara) Emerita Banuelos Rodriguez (Adrian) and Federico Banuelos, his daughter, Danielle and three grandchildren, Amanda, Elizabeth and Jodie and many nieces and nephews.

Marcos attended Arboga and Yuba Gardens Schools and graduated from Marysville High School in 1972. After graduation, he moved to Hawaii with his brother, Richard and lived there the remainder of his life. He retired as a construction worker and belonged to Local 3 Union.

Marcos was a loving, gentle man, loved by many. He enjoyed traveling to California to visit his family and friends. Although he had a huge family and many friends, he would still make his rounds visting, because he believed they were all important. He was very proud of his Mexican heritage and always dressed in his cowboy boots and tejana. He loved his Mexican music, particularly el Mariachi. Marcos, you will be missed but never forgotten.

A celebration of life gathering will be held at 1799 Esplanade Way, Yuba City, CA on Saturday, May 14, 2016.
