Margaret (Parker) James Obituary

Margaret Parker James died October 25, 2017 at Vibra Hospital in Folsom, California. She was born in Phenix City, Alabama on June 1, 1936. She was the widow of MSgt. Theo James, retired USAF. Margaret was a resident of Yuba County for 51 years. She was a homemaker for most of her life, but also worked for several years at Del Monte Cannery and at Beale AFB as a child care provider.

Margaret was baptized into Christ in 1958 in Vallejo, California. She was a faithful member of the Church of Christ throughout her life.

She was preceded in death by 12 brothers and sisters. She is survived by her brother, Henry Burl Parker of Phenix City, Alabama. She is survived by four sisters-in-law and a brother-in-law and her five children, Anthony (Valerie), Sharon, Cheryl (Michael), Valerie and Cassandra. She also has five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services will be conducted on Wednesday, November 1, 2017, at the Linda Church of Christ at 1:00 pm, brother Steve Foster officiating. Burial will take place at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in Dixon, CA. Arrangements are under the direction of Ullrey Memorial Chapel.
