Martha Ann (Hunt) Johnson, 61, of Olivehurst, California, passed away on September 3, 2014. She was born on September 20, 1954, the fourth child of David Leroy and Velma (Groberg) Hunt in Moses Lake, Washington. After graduating from Quincy High School in 1970, she attended BYU for one year. In 1972, while visiting her sister Betty Allen, she met her husband, Christopher Johnson. They were married in the St. George LDS temple on November 25, 1972.

Martha was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother. She returned to college and obtained her teaching credential from Chico State. After graduation, she worked as a substitute teacher for the Marysville School District. She was a lifelong member of the LDS Church and served in many capacities.

She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Christopher Johnson, and five children, Jennifer Johnson (Gary Shields) of Moses Lake, Washington, Seth Johnson of Olivehurst, Patricia Johnson (Ben Seymour) of Murray, UT, Peter Johnson (Dixie Brace) of Marysville, CA and Jedediah Johnson of Dallas, TX. Brothers Thomas Hunt (Ruth), Terry Hunt, Stephen Hunt, James Hunt (Lorna) Alma Hunt (Sinda). Sisters Linda Bishop (Richard), Betty Allen and Laura Deichman (Curt), sister-in-law Stephanie Little (Jerry) and brother-in-law Marc Johnson (Donna) and four grandchildren Gabriella, Tabitha, Zander and Augusta.

She is preceded in death by her parents David and Velma Hunt, Brother Roy Hunt and sister Vicky Watson.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, September 8, 2014, 9:00 am, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1997 North Beale Rd., Linda, CA.
