Mary Ann Shockley Obituary

Mary Ann Shockley passed away February 20, 2017 at The Fountains in Yuba City, CA.Born July 10, 1927 in Marshall, AK, she was a resident of the Yuba-Sutter area for 69 years from 1948 to 2017.

Mary was a retired cook at the Beale AFB Hospital. She was involved with the Feather River Batist Church, Olivehurst.

She is survived by her daughter Linda Barber (Jim), daughter-in-law Irma Shockley, grandchildren Julie Hartman, Chris Barber, Gary Shockley and Alex Shockley, 7 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren, and numerous extended family members and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Lewis M. Shockley, sons Lewis W. Shockley, Paul M. Shockley, parents Jewel and Archie Gates, sister Mildred Watts, granddaughter Lori Wellemeyer, and great grandson Drew Wellemeyer.

Celebration of Life will be held on March 3, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Lakeside Colonial Chapel, Marysville with Rev. Charles Woods officiating. Reception will follow at Feather River Baptist Church, 5400 Chestnut Rd, Olivehurst, CA.
