Obituary Condolences

Misako Okano, 88, of Yuba City, CA, passed away on November 5, 2013. Born June 9, 1925 in Oregon. A Yuba-Sutter area resident since 1957. She was a sorter for Sunsweet Growers & Harter packing.

Misako was a member of the Marysville Buddhist Church, Fujinkai, Diamond Sunsweet, Cling Peach Association and Yuba-Sutter Farm Bureau.

Survivors include her son Denis (Teresa) Okano of Yuba City, daughter Judy Okano of Yuba City, son Kenny (Wilma) Okano of Ontario, CA; sisters: Mary Nishita of Yuba City, Nobue Imazumi of San Pablo; grandchildren Denis and Brandon Okano.

Preceded in death by her husband, Henry Okano, and grandson, Timmy Okano.

Memorial Services will be conducted on Sunday, November 17, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Marysville Buddhist Church. Arrangements are under the direction of the Ullrey Memorial Chapel.
