Myrl Fay Goines

82, of Brownsville, passed away on October 21, 2010. Myrl was born on December 28, 1927 in Buck Creek, Oklahoma. She was a homemaker and Yuba Sutter resident since 1963. Survivors include her sons, Bobby R. Goines of Brownsville, CA, Billy G. Goines of Brownsville, CA, a sister, Verna Lee Battershell of Brownsville, CA, nine grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Abe Goines, daughter, Janice Standridge, twin brother, Verle Ray Goodwin and sisters, Mildred Sobrao, Marie Diaz and Bernice Baulding. Graveside services will be at 12 noon on Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at the Brownsville Cemetery, Brownsville, California, with Pastor Dick Phillips of the Faith Lighthouse Church of Brownsville officiating. Burial will be at the Brownsville Cemetery in Brownsville, California. A reception will follow at the Senior Citizen's Hall in Brownsville.
