Cliff, Drew, Tip, and Grant,
I was deeply saddened when I received the news about Nan. Although it had been many years that I had seen her, I can still hear her wonderful laugh and the beautiful songs that she sang at my wedding 23 years ago. I believe that she is singing with the Angels now.May God be with you and the entire family in this time of sorrow.

Nan will always remain in a special place in my heart and mind. We met at a time when we were young and full of optimism and looked forward
to the unknown challenges that were in store for us. We faced those
challenges together with laughter and a smile. Fun times and great
memories. Tom Kocotis, Chico, CA

Nan was not only a beautiful person, she was also the best singer and musician I ever had the privilege of working with. Although we only made one recording (Four Strong Winds), the song is still as beautiful today as it was when she recorded it, over twenty years ago. We’ll miss you, Nan.

Dear Cliff, Drew, Grant and Tip,

I want you all to know how much I too loved your Mom.

The years she lived with me in high school were filled with memories she always kept with her. Believe me, Nan had memories I had long forgotten but wonderful memories that always made us laugh together.

She raised you boys with high expectations and high ideals. She was proud of all of you. Only yesterday I read a letter from Drew in the Chico paper about the football program. Despite her own illness, Nan always put you boys first in heart and life.

When God called her, he called a woman who fought a long, tough fight her whole life. She set a high bar for all of us to live by and she will always be with you, with all of us, only a prayer away.

Help your Dad, help each other and most of all love one another and you will always have Nan with you. She loved all of you so very much.

With all our love and our sadness,

Marsha and Mike Ebert
