Obituary Condolences


Nick Hordeski of Marysville died December 16, 2013 after a short illness.

He was born in Camden, NJ on Aug 30, 1932 and lived there until he went into the Air Force. He retired from the Air Force in 1971 where he had been stationed at Beale Air Force Base. During his service in the Air Force he served in both the Korean War and Viet Nam. He was also a recipient of a Bronze Star. After his retirement from the Air Force he was a deputy for Yuba County Sheriffs Dept, he also worked security at both Marysville and Lindhurst High schools, and had worked at Hust Bros and Montgomery Wards.

He was a member of the Disabled AmericanVeterans.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years Barbara.

He is survived by his children, Barbara Ann Lantrip (Randall), Michael, Susanmary White (Doug), James (Brenda) and Janet Ridenour. His grandchildren: Randall Jr., Nicholas, Jennifer, Sara, Brenda, Kristen, and Matthew; and his great grandchildren: Colton, Gage, Rylan, Lillyan, Charlotte, Oliver, Alexander and Gabriella.

Memorial services: Friday, December 20, 2013 at 3:30 pm at Ullrey Memorial Chapel, 817 Almond Street, Yuba City, CA. Military honors following service.
