Nina Law Reeve Obituary

Nina Law Reeve, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on January 1, 2015. She was born in Beaver, Utah on December 9, 1911, raised in Delta, Utah with her ten brothers and sisters, she was the last remaining child of William J. and Bessie B. Law.

Nina met the love of her life, Dean D. Reeve in Delta and they were married in Salt Lake City. Together they traveled and made dreams with their three daughters, Karen, Barbara and Florence. They moved to Las Vegas and while Dean worked on construction of the Hoover Dam, Nina spent her time raising their daughters. In September of 1941, the family moved to Vallejo, where Dean helped build war ships and Nina drove a little bakery truck. She also experienced living in Vietnam during the war and worked in the US Embassy. Later they retired in Yuba City, Ca.

Nina enjoyed life to the fullest. She played the piano, golfed, loved music, socializing with friends and would dance the night away. She left us with many memories of her wonderful cooking, camping, collecting rocks and family gatherings.

Nina is preceded in death by her husband, Dean D. Reeve, her daughters, Barbara Lane and Florence Trebian, her granddaughter, Hollie Marie and great- grandson, Craig Rice

She is survived by her daughter Karen Matthews of Yuba City, 12 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.
