Palmer (Tip) Tipton
Palmer (Tip) Tipton 78 of Olivehurst passed away October 10, 2013. Born in England, Arkansas, he moved to Arizona where he met his wife of 57 years, Mary. From there they moved to California to raise their family.

Tip was an avid hunter and fisherman. Loving the outdoors and all that went with it. He was a member of the North Central California Houndsmen Association. He was also owner of Tiptons Body Shop.

Tip is survived by his wife, Mary Sue of Marysville; a son, Rickey Tipton of Olivehurst; a daughter, Pam Geddis (Keith) of Marysville; a granddaughter, Becky Bishop (Brandon) of Marysville; and one great-grandson, Jayce Palmer Bishop, the apple of his eye. He is also survived by two sisters, Florence Bowling of Redfield, AR, and Edna Tompkens of Mosspoint, MS; three brothers, Marvin Tipton of Truman, AR, RC Tipton of Truman, AR, and Lonnie Tipton of Huchinson, KS. Also, numerous nieces and nephews.

A viewing will be he held Thursday October 17, from 4-7 pm at Ullreys Memorial Chapel. Services will be held on Friday October 18th at 1pm also at Ullreys Memorial Chapel. Graveside to follow.

The family would like to Thank Dr. Munzer, hospice and the additional doctors who provided care for Palmer.
