Patricia Scott, 94, of Wheatland, CA, passed away April 27, 2014 in Lincoln.

Patricia was born in Lincoln, Nebraska on July 5, 1919 to Edward and Laura Wachter. She was the youngest in the family and had 4 older brothers.

She had many fond family memories growing up. She graduated from Lincoln High School and married her first love, husband Richard Evans. Shortly after he was listed MIA during WWII. She was left with a son Robert Evans.

She married her second husband, James Henry Scott in 1947 and spent the next 28 years as an Air Force wife, raising her four sons. After her husband James' retirement they moved to East Nicolaus, CA. During their senior years together they enjoyed gardening, canning, baking, traveling together, camping and most of all they just enjoyed life and their family.

Patricia was married to her devoted husband for 53 years. After his passing she moved to Wheatland where she resided for the last 10 years.

Patricia was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother.

Patricia is survived by her son Donald R. Scott; 12 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her devoted husband James Henry Scott; her loving sons, Robert Evans, Ronald Scott, James Scott Jr.; brothers, Edward, Ned, Robert and Millard; granddaughter Summer Rose Scott and daughter-in-law Lynn Evans

Services will be Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at 11:30 am at the Lincoln Funeral Home, 406 H St., Lincoln.

She had a zest for life and lived for her family. She will be greatly missed.
