Patrick L. Phillips

Patrick L. Phillips 60, of Orland passed away October 4, 2010 in Chico, CA of long term Cancer. Born May 17, 1950 in Yolo, CA to Patrick and Katie Ellen Phillips, both deceased. Patrick was a loving husband and devoted father. He had many friends through the years. He was a Master Diesel Mechanic and a Head Forman on farms with agriculture for 30 years. He enjoyed spending time with family going camping, Pontiac Cars, especially his GTO, tending to his garden, loved having those grandbabies, before he left, he knew he had almost fulfilled his whole dream, only to have lived longer. Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Tammie Mathias Phillips; 2 brothers: Ernie & Jimmy Rae, 3 sisters: Mary, Johnnie & Ginger; 2 sons: Patrick (32), & Preston (28) Phillips; 3 daughters: Betsy (27) Katie Ellen (26) & Caitlin (19) Phillips; 7 grandchildren: Donavin (7), Emma (3), Charllina (3), Peyton (2), Alia (1), Starla (1) and Drayvin (10 mos) He was preceded in death by 2 sisters: Virginia & Willamae and 1 brother William, along with his parents, Patrick & Katie Ellen Phillips. Services are scheduled for Friday, October 8, 2010 at 3:00 pm at Sutter Cemetery. A reception will follow at 5478 Arboga Rd. at the Peach Mobile Estates.
