Paul Louis Chesini Obituary
Paul Louis Chesini, 90, passed away peacefully on October 29, 2013. Born in San Pedro CA to Lorenzo and Teresa Chesini, he was a lifelong Sutter County resident. The family moved to Meridian CA where Paul attended Slough School in Meridian and graduated from Sutter Union High School.

Paul married the love of his life Domenica (Tina) Zuliani in 1951 and they were blessed with four children.

Hard work was nothing to Paul. After the death of their father, Paul and his brothers Arnold and Leo worked for many years together before Paul began a farming partnership with sons Larry and Robert. He was a bright and talented man who was able to build equipment that suited his needs. He passed along his farming and hunting skills to his sons who maintain the family farm today.

Paul always had a funny story to share and had a smile on his face. He was an honorable man, a great husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend to many. He was a member of St. Isidore Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, Elks, Moose Lodge and served on the board of the Tisdale Irrigation and Drainage District. As time passed, his work days on the farm and hunting ceased as he eased into retirement with Tina. Most recently, he spent his time reading and working on word puzzles. His mind was sharp and he never lost his sense of humor. He will be missed by many but leaves his family with many fond memories and a real passion for life and family.

Paul is survived by his children Kathy and George Berrettoni of Woodland, Larry and Dawn Chesini of Meridian, Robert and Gigi Chesini of Yuba City and Paula Chesini of Yuba City. Grandchildren Gina Berrettoni, Mario Berrettoni, Noelle and Mike Murray, Anthony Chesini, Gino Chesini, Dante Chesini, Grant Tarke, Mitchell Tarke, Paige Tarke and great granddaughter Maddison Murray. He is also survived by his sisters Ella Hoffart and Nina Munson and sisters-in-law Alice Chesini, Betty Zuliani, Nella Benedetti, Ann Zuliani and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife Tina, his parents, three brothers, and five brothers- in-law.
