Pauline Hoxworth, of Browns Valley, CA, born on June 2, 1935 in Chickasha, OK, passed away on November 8, 2016 at her home, surrounded by family.
Pauline was a longtime resident of Browns Valley. She worked in the real estate business for many years, was a homemaker and helped run the family cattle ranch. She was a 4-H leader, a Beta Sigma Phi Sorority member and a member of Mid-Valley Historical Auto Club.
Pauline's greatest joy in life was being a mother. She loved spending time with family and friends and enjoyed boating and fishing. She was a wonderful cook and also loved sewing and quilting. She spent many years with her husband Raymond going to Alaska, Montana and Arizona. She also enjoyed traveling with family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Hoxworth; parents Calvin and Ida Sawyers; sisters Etha Mae Glass, Lee Samora and Claudine Sawyers.
She is survived by her son Curtis (Kris) Hoxworth of La Porte, CA, daughter Raeline (Gerald) Perry of Princeton, CA, and son Duane (Jewelie) Hoxworth of Ovando, MT. She is also survived by her grandchildren Amy, Craig, David, Dan and Samantha, and great- grandchildren Wyatt, Charlotte, Raelynn and Dawson.
Funeral Service will be held Monday, November 14, 11:00 A.M. at Peoria Cemetery, Browns Valley, followed by a reception at Foothill Lions Club. Arrangements are under the direction of Lipp & Sullivan Funeral Home.
