On June 6, 2018, Pearl Willis, best known as Peggy, passed away peacefully at the age of 93 in Marysville, CA, surrounded by family and her dearest friends.

Peggy was born on September 20, 1924, in Hamilton City, CA, as one of 7 children. She is survived by her brothers James (Mena) Cordova, John (Dena) Cooper and Eugene (Sally) Tamantini.

She married her husband Charles E Willis (who preceded her in death on March 1, 2009) in 1963. They purchased a home in Williams, CA, shortly after their marriage in which they enjoyed years of family and friends. Peggy remained living in the same home until the time of her death. She loved camping, hunting and fishing, which she enjoyed until shortly before her death.

Peggy worked at the Harters Cannery in Yuba City, CA, for over 30 years until she retired in 1992. She worked hard most of her life and enjoyed life as she did.

Peggy raised six daughters, two of which preceded her in death. Jeanne Tiner (Glen) of Keno, OR, Rose Shoopman (Larry) of Nampa, ID, Terry Chandler of Nampa, ID, Robin Willis of Nampa, ID, (whom preceded her in death in 1980), Deloris Browne (Harry) of Williams, CA, (whom preceded her in death in 1987), Sherry MacCrindle (Brian) of Muleshoe, TX. 16 grandchildren; Tammie, Pam, Vicky, Kim, Stacey, Jason, Hillary, Gary, Bradley, Jamie, Peggy, Charlie, Teigan, Margret, Jennifer and Ben ; 29 great-grandchildren and approximately 16 great-great-grandchildren with 1 more due in October, along with numerous generations of nieces and nephews.

Services to be held as follows: Visitation will be on June 15, 2018 from 5-8pm at McNary-Moore Funeral Home in Colusa, CA. Graveside service on June 16, 2018 at 12:00pm at the Williams, CA, cemetery. A reception following the service at her home in Williams, CA. Memorial donations can be made in honor of Pearl Willis to the following: The National Breast Cancer Foundation, Leukemia Foundation or .
