Perry G. Morgan, 80, of Yuba City, entered into eternal rest on October 28, 2017, in Colusa County.

Perry was born August 17,1937, to Arthur and Nola Morgan in Tatums Oklahoma, where he attended school until Arthur moved his family to California where he continued his education attending Fremont High School in Alameda. While in school, he was part of the R.O.T.C. Program and decided to answer the call to serve his country and joined the Army his senior year.

After his return home he then married his first wife and adopted her two children Linda Lee and Lanell. They then had two more children Christine and Perry Jr.

In 1975, he married Lupe Perez in Virginia City, Nevada. Perry worked in the trucking industry for over 40 years retiring from Carnation/Foster Farms and again from Ruan.

In 1955, he enlisted in the Army. He later re-enlisted and retired from the Army National Guard in 1998. Presently Perry was serving as a Volunteer for the Yuba City Police Department.

Perry was a man known for his generosity and kindheartedness. He will always be remembered for the way he cared for others. He gave with no hesitation.

His true passions in life were gambling, gardening and family. He most treasured these ways of spending his time. He was a loving and loyal husband, father and friend. He will greatly be missed.

Perry was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Nola; his sister, Alene; his brothers, Alton, Alvin, Paul; his daughter-in-law, Kerry; and the love of his life Lupe. "My love" as which he referred to her.

Perry is survived by his youngest sister, Janis; his daughter and son-in-law, Christine and Duane Watson of Oakland; his son, Perry Jr. of Antioch; his stepdaughter and son-in-law, Linda Lee and Harold Holloway of Idaho, his stepdaughter and son-in-law, Gloria and Jody Pantlik of Yuba City; his stepdaughter and son-in-law, Loren and Susana Williams of Vacaville; and his stepdaughter, the late Lanell Morgan. His grandchildren, Melanie, Zachariah, Kelin, Eli, Kenneth, Kyle, Jessica, Joseph, Emily, Loren Jr, and his treasured great grandchildren Breawna, Isaiah, Aspen, Jordan, Daysen, Avery, Aliah,
Aaron, Analise, Layla, Gavan, Braden, Kiera, Austin and his new arrival Brielle.

Papa we love and miss you with all our hearts. Perry left behind and was loved by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members as well.

Funeral services will be held at the Casa Bonita Funeral Home in Stockton, California, on Tuesday, November 14, 2017. Viewing starts at 9:30a.m. funeral will begin at 11:00a.m. Graveside services will immediately follow at the San Joaquin cemetery.
