Born April 6, 1947 in Marysville, CA; lost his battle with pancreatic cancer on November 23, 2013 at home surrounded by his loving family, in Marysville, CA at the age of 66.

Beloved husband of 36 years to Carol. He will be greatly missed by children Michael (Melinda) Johnson; Christina Johnson; and Craig (Jennifer) Blansett. He will be remembered by grandchildren Melia and Macie Johnson; and Cody, Matthew and Baylee Blansett; sister, Lindy (Buddy) Mitchell and a brother, Denny (Linda) Reeve.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Nellie Minor and his father, Hurbert Johnson.

He served in Vietnam and the Air Force Reserve (940th Air Refueling Division) and retired after 29 years. He enjoyed fishing and RVing with his loving wife Carol. He was loved and will be missed by his family and many friends.

Services will be held on Sunday, December 8, 2013 at 1:00 pm, at Lakeside Colonial Chapel, 830 D. Street, Marysville, CA. Private burial will be at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery, Dixon, CA. In lieu of flowers, donations to be sent to Sutter North Hospice.
