Robert Eugene Jenkins Obituary

August 10,1937 -January 25, 2017

This is the Obituary of the Leprechaun, A king of
Unfortunate circumstances, AKA Uncle Bob, The Provider

The Leprechaun;
The Man; was small, mighty and overly confident. In his passion for Golf He would never practice because he didn't want to waste any good shots. When he stepped up to the green he would dance around, never lining up, and hit the ball with such accuracy people would just say you're lucky. He won many tournaments with his team and was a great golfer. He earned the Title of the Leprechaun.

King of Unfortunate circumstances;
The Man; rode a horse wearing hush puppy shoes rather than boots. Also he forgot to buckle the saddle before getting on but somehow managed to stay astride the horse for approximately 100 feet before the saddle rotated to the belly of the horse. Not being able to stay aboard the horse without a saddle on top, Bob fell off. Then the horse had the nerve to back up and step on his toe, breaking it.

The Man; who began a new hobby, riding motorcycles. He started the motorcycle not realizing it was in gear and the throttle was set at full speed. Bob hung on the motorcycle while flying through the air and crashing into a fence. Watching this episode his twin brother thought Bob was injured because his hush puppy shoes where partially hanging off his feet looking like the ankles were broken. Again with the hush puppies.

The Man; at the end of his option to cure cancer he went as far as trying marijuana oil, but he forgot to ask the details on how much he should take. On the first night he took so much oil that in the middle of the night he woke my mom up by peeing on the white wall thinking it was the toilet. The second night he thought he had it all together by taking a smaller amount of the oil, but ended that night with only being able to use his head to move around because his body was uncooperative.

The man; who always referred to himself as a professional, would very often end up talking to himself in the third party. Sometimes you would hear him say "Bob, You Stupid Ass".

The Provider -
On a more serious note; he was a proud Navy man, an accomplished career man as well as a loving, loyal husband, father, grandfather, friend. The kids always called him the Provider and that he will forever be.

This is the Man that accepted all challenges and never backed down, huge personality but never mastered anything but loving people. He always introduced himself as Uncle Bob because every person was part of his family. He was larger than life, god bless him, we will all miss him very much.

We've only included a few stories of Bob Jenkins. There are countless numbers of Unfortunate circumstances we could tell about this amazing man. He occasionally got himself into trouble, life was never dull around him. He was always so proud of his family.

Bob is survived by his wife Dolly, the love of his life, who he eloped with 56 years ago. They had three children Robert Jenkins, Steven Jenkins (deceased) and Heidi Scott, three beautiful granddaughter's Jordan, Haley and Madison.

A Celebration of life will be announced and held in early spring.
