Ryan Graham Jensen Obituary

Ryan Graham Jensen, 18, of Yuba City, was called home to his Heavenly Father on Sunday, November 19, 2017, alongside his cousin and best friend Mason George Oaks, 20, of Yuba City. Ryan was born December 23, 1998, in Yuba City, and was cherished by his parents Andrea and Brad Jensen.

Ryan was loved by all who knew him, and his genuine love for others and enthusiasm for life could be felt by anyone and everyone he came in contact with. He loved the outdoors and was a true adventurer at heart, courageous and loved new experiences.

A graduate of River Valley High School, Ryan was a gifted athlete and leader who relished the chance to involve himself in as many sports and activities as possible. He loved FFA and every animal from lizards and snakes to his amazing black Labrador Jinx who followed him faithfully on many grand adventures. Ryan was looking forward to starting college soon and rooming with his cousin Mason at Brigham Young University in Rexburg, Idaho, this January. Ryan was also an Eagle Scout and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Ryan is survived by his parents, Brad and Andrea Jensen of Yuba City and three younger siblings, Kylee, Caleb and Isaac Jensen. He is also survived by his great-grandmother, Zoella Jensen of Corona; great-grandfather, Marlan Allphin of Saint George, Utah; grandparents, Bob and Marie Jensen of Yuba City; Scott and Mary Petersen of Yuba City; Michael and Vanessa Jenkins of Yuba City; and Mark and Laura Graham of Yuba City. He was also adored by countless family members who miss him dearly.

Services will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 1470 Butte House Road, Yuba City, CA, on Wednesday, November 29, 2017, at 10:30 am.
