March 2, 1941 - March 14, 2017

Sandra was born in Pittsburg, Texas and grew up in Lafayette, Louisiana. She resided in Yuba-Sutter area for over fifty years.

Sandra was proceeded in death by parents: Helen Figaro- Crumbley and George A. Crumbley Sr., sister, Barbara Jean Crumbley, daughter, Nicole Peterson, son, Lonnie Peterson, and sister in law, Velma 1. Crumbley.

Sandra leaves behind her husband of 40 years Lawrence F. Peterson and son, Aaron Pankey. Siblings: George Jr., Wayne (Cathy), James (Kim), Sr. Gayle Lwanga, RGS, Ed.D., Elmer and Mary Crumbley. Sisters; Judy Gregory (Steven), and Catherine DeLeon (Ronald). Grandchildren; Christopher Bates, Christopher and Jordan Pankey, Nicole and Matt Bendorf, Rashad and Monique Peterson, three great grandchildren and a host of nieces, great nieces, nephews, great nephews, cousins and many great friends.

Sandra was employed by Fremont Rideout for 35 years. She participated for a number of years in Relay For Life, American Cancer Society. Sandra was especially known for her love of cooking and making wonderful meals which she helped serve to the homeless. Sandra throughly enjoyed traveling nationally and abroad.

The family wants to thank the many friends and family for their support during Sandra's illness. We also thank everyone who visited, called, sent cards, flowers and food.
