Sarah Lee Frantz, 93, passed away peacefully in her home on September 29, 2012.

She was preceded by her husband of 59 years, Emmitt Frantz and her son, James (Jimmy) Frantz.

She is survived by her daughter-in-law Alisa Frantz; two Grandsons, Jeff Frantz of Malaga, WA, and Mike Frantz of Wenatchee, WA; her two Great Grandsons, Shea and Will; and her Nephew, James Dunn of Reno, NV.

Sarah was born in Sherman, Texas to James Ballow and Kate Dawson. She attended Waco High where she met Emmitt. She moved to the Bay Area with Emmitt and Jimmy at the end of WWII. Upon both their retirements from Ampex, they moved to Yuba City and started Feather River Office Machines.

The family would like to thank Fremont- Rideout Home Hospice staff and the members of Cornerstone Church who have been so supportive to Sarah and her family. A special thanks to Diane Smalley for all her love and support of Sarah for 21 years. Also, a special thanks to Dr. John Doty and his wife Debbie for their devotion to Sarah.

Memorial Services will be held Friday, Oct. 5, 11AM at Cornerstone Church, 700 Washington Ave., Yuba City, CA 95991. A luncheon will follow the services. Charitable donations to Cornerstone Church or Fremont-Rideout Hospice in Sarah's name are preferred to flowers.
