Scott Lacey Obituary

Scott Alan Lacey, 45, of Yuba City, CA; August 1, 1972 - February 24, 2018.

After a heroic battle with Multiple Myeloma, Scott Alan Lacey reunited with his youngest brother, Shawn. His devotion and love for family, friends, music and exploring the outdoors made him the man he was. He was funny, sarcastic, stubborn, and so smart. Scott's actions had meaningful purpose. His daughter, Taylor, rocked his world when she was born. Only to be outdone by his granddaughter, Charley. Scott was so proud of her and loved being a grandpa. His comforting deep voice and infectious smile will be missed by his many friends and family. He is survived by his daughter, Taylor (Trent) Koch of Yuba City, CA, father, Alan (Sandy) Lacey of Salt Lake City, UT, mother, Dorothy (Larry) Griffith of Oroville, CA, sister, Suzanne (Kevin) Overby of Cottonwood Heights, UT, sister, Stephanie (Ryan) Burnett of Boise, ID, sister, Michelle (Jake) Anderson of South Jordan, UT, brother, Steve (Amber) Lacey of Cottonwood, CA, sister-in-law, Lisa Lacey of Yuba City, CA, sister, Angela (Robert) O'Brien of Macon, GA, sister, Camille Lacey of Macon, GA, granddaughter, Charley Koch, and many nieces and nephews. Preceded by his youngest brother, Shawn, grandparents, Marvin and Leona Witt, George and Karma Lacey.

Memorial Service for Scott will be held Saturday, March 3, 2018, at Hillcrest Plaza, 229 Clark Ave., Yuba City, CA at 1:30 pm.

The Lacey family would like to thank Scott's many friends, health care workers and extended family who love and care for him.
