On Saturday, January 27, 2018, Steven Bullard, father, son, brother, and devoted friend passed away suddenly at the age of 54 years in Carmichael, CA. Steve will always be remembered by his beloved family and friends for his infectious laugh, hilarious sense of humor, and zest for life.

Born November 11, 1963 in Sacramento, CA, he is survived by his girlfriend, Sandra Adams of Wheatland; his children, Sarah and Brian; his granddaughter, Gianna, his parents, Jess Bullard and Shirley Curtis; his sisters, Stephanie and Kelly; his nephew, Kyle, and his nieces; Megan and Carly. After graduating from Pleasant Valley High School in Chico, CA in 1982, he enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1984, and served at Travis and McClellan Air Force Bases until his honorable discharge in 1992. He earned his Bachelor of Arts (2004) and Masters of Science in Psychology (2007), both from California State University, Chico.

At the time of his passing, he was excelling as a Marriage and Family Therapist in the Marysville/Yuba City area at New Day Family Counseling Center. He had a passion for supporting students at Wheatland Union High School and loved making a difference in the lives of others. Those who knew him best describe him as an amazing therapist, a wizard with words and a master of metaphor. He was larger than life and would light up a room, he was loved by all who came to know him. Steve was an avid music and movie fan and had an encyclopedic knowledge of lyrics, quotes, and popular culture. Steve drew nearer to God in the final 9 months of his life and found peace in his spirit.

A Celebration of Life will be held on April 28, 2018 at 1pm at the Calvary Christian Center, 2620 Colusa Hwy, Yuba City, CA, with Pastor Doug Carroccio, presiding. Steven's final resting place will be at the Northern California Veterans Cemetery in Igo, CA.
