Tammie Ann Wellborn Obituary

My sister was born as Tammie Ann Eisenbeisz, to parents Ginger Rogers and Roland Levi Eisenbeisz on December 17, 1965.

On May 14, 2015, Tammie worked her shift as a RN on the PACU unit at Rideout, as she had many days and years prior. On May 15, 2015, Tammie was diagnosed with Metastatic cancer and all of our lives changed forever.

With the genuine and compassionate support of Rideout's Hospice team, on June 17, my beloved sister peacefully took her last breath in her "own home" as she wished, with her family close by, her mother; loving brother, Ken Eisenbeisz; caring sister Tracy Alvarez and her husband Serafini; both of her beautiful daughters, Amanda and Jamie Wellborn; her nephew Serafin (Buddy) Alvarez; her two nieces Crystal and Victoria Alvarez; her ex-husband, Ron Wellborn, and caregiver Megan.

Tammie was preceded in death by her father and stepmother Lois Eisenbeisz.

Tammie also leaves behind stepsisters, Tina Soto and Tracy Schneller, and one stepbrother, Terry Eisenbeisz. Lastly, she leaves behind many other precious stepfamily members, cousins, aunts and uncles and kindhearted friends.

Tammie's family would like to extend a special thank you to all of you who kept her in your thoughts and prayers, and to her private caregivers Megan and Bonnie, and to Gabby, Dee and Amy who connected us to amazing caregivers.

Also, Tammie's family extends our gratitude to her Rideout PACU and Surgery family, Nor Cal and Bi-County Ambulance companies, the Rideout ER Dept, ICU, 3 Main, Case Management, Sierra Health Care, Hospice, and to all of the physicians and support staff it takes to make a patient well cared for in their time of need. Lastly, a special thank you goes to Hope Point Nazarene Church, Ullrey Memorial Chapel, and Tammie's PCP, Dr. Blair, for overseeing all of my sister's care.

May you all be comforted by her humorous stories, her Raider loving and infectious spirit and her unmistakable laughter. May you be inspired by her absolute dedication and empathy for her patients and may you be as trustworthy and loyal to your friends as Tammie was to all those she loved.

Please bring your amusing stories and treasured memories for an incredible celebration of Tammie's Life this Saturday, June 27, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. at Hope Pointe Nazarene Church in Yuba City, 600 N. George Washington in the Family Life Center (back building).
