Timothy Aaron Rorie Obituary

Timothy Aaron Rorie, 25, a lifelong resident of Loma Rica, was tragically taken from us on
September 25, 2017, due to injuries sustained as a passenger in an automobile accident.

Born to Ben and Marva Rorie of Loma Rica on April 18, 1992, he was their youngest child. He attended Marysville High School, graduating in 2010 with highest honors, and was the recipient of The Ken Griffin award. He loved being a player and team mate on the Marysville High School basketball team and all the friendships he acquired there. Timothy started making plans for his education in the 6th grade when he received his first President's Education Award and continued receiving this award every year up to his graduation. After high school he went on to attend Chico State University. He had recently become employed as a driver for Brown's Gas, a job that he truly loved as well as the people he worked with there.

Timothy enjoyed spending time with friends and family and his beloved dog "Willis". He was such a blessing to everyone he ever met and never passed on an opportunity to help someone out, not for recognition or personal gain but because he wanted to. He always looked for the good in others never judging or comparing people. He had such a special way of connecting with each and every person he had contact with. Timothy was an honest, selfless, giving, loving, caring soul who will always be remembered for his beautiful smile, and quiet laughter, at 6' 6", he truly was a gentle giant who will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Timothy was preceded in death by his grandparents; Frank and Alice Rorie and Fox and Margaret Wagnon and niece, Layla Lou Rorie. He is survived by his parents; Ben and Marva Rorie, a brother, Benjamin Fox Rorie, and 3 sisters; Tina Bechtel, Kimberly and Sarah Rorie, all of Loma Rica. Timothy Aaron, meaning "To Bear Light and Bring Honor and Glory to God", he truly lived up to his name everyday that we were so blessed to have him here with us as a son, grandson, brother, uncle, nephew, and friend. His love of life beamed through him every time he smiled. There are no words that could ever describe how much he will always be missed.

Gone from this world up to heaven, an angel too soon, he will reside in our hearts and memories always.

Timothy Aaron Rorie, FOREVER YOUNG.
