Twila Jean Ogletree

Twila Jean Ogletree 1936-2010 Twila Jean Ogletree passed away October 19th 2010 after a short, but courageous, battle with cancer. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, V.G. "Gar" Ogletree; her daughter, Denise and husband, David Jeans, of Eugene, Oregon; her son, Darrin Ogletree and wife, Sandy of Winters, California; Granddaughters: Katy Whisler-Jeans of Stockton, CA and Shawna Jeans Longworth and husband Timothy of Springfield OR; Grandsons: Doug Wendland and wife Erica of Sacramento CA, and Dan Wendland and wife Jayita of Santa Fe, NM. Twila has 4 great- grandchildren: Owen and Ella Wendland of Sacramento CA and Bryce Winz and Sophia Longworth of Springfield, Oregon. Twila is also survived by her mother, Ruth Hoselton; and sister, Betty McClain; both of Yuba City, CA. She was preceded in death by her son, Dennis Ogletree; her father, Orbie Hoselton; and her sister Ruthie Riano. After 29 years in banking, the last 18 for First Northern Bank of Dixon, Twila retired with her husband Gar to the Mendocino Coast. She was an active member and past president of Soroptimist in both Davis and Fort Bragg. She was also an active volunteer for the Mendocino Coast Hospital Auxiliary. She loved her volunteer work and found hours of joy knitting and donating her baby sweater sets, complete with hats and booties for the Hospital Gift Shop. Twila was most proud of her family…and her family most proud of her. Twila's family is honoring her request for no services.
